Chef Joe McLeod (Ngāi Tūhoe), is on a mission to revitalize kai māori so our cuisine can flourish for many generations to come.

Chef will share mātauranga around foraging kai from the whenua, the ngahere, the moana and how these are connected to the Matariki stars, traditional techniques on how to prepare kai hākari during Matariki, and how this can be done at home.

Although this event will be held in Wellington, it will be livestreamed exclusively on MLI. For those who miss out, we will also be recording the event and it will be available to view on Māori Land Information permanently.

To register for the event simply click RSVP > Attending and a popup window will ask for your name and email address. We will send livestream and event activity details directly to you. More information to come....
